ALHAJA: When Spanish Folklore Meets the Virtual Stage
A Live Audiovisual Performance Sculpted in PatchWorld
Last month at Patchlab Digital Art Festival in Kraków, audiences experienced something
rare: a live performance where tradition, technology, and virtual space evolved together in
real time.
ALHAJA, created and performed by Javier Muñoz, Luis Muñoz, and Enrique Moya Rosa,
is an immersive audiovisual concert inspired by the folk traditions of Castilla-La Mancha
and Andalucía, reimagined through virtual instruments, electronic music, and generative
visuals — all performed live inside PatchWorld.
More than a concert, ALHAJA is a statement about the future of live performance: phygital,
embodied, and collective.
